Welcome to the Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Program!
The Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Program is an interdisciplinary program comprised of over 130 faculty from three colleges. The program typically recruits a class of 25 graduate students each year for training in seven different research tracks:
- Bioinformatics & Computational Biology
- Cell & Developmental Biology
- Chemical Biology & Drug Discovery
- Molecular Genetics
- Biomolecular Structure and Function
- Plant Molecular Biology
Each of the tracks provides specialized courses and training for the graduate students beyond the basic core curriculum. All Cell and Molecular Biology graduate students are supported in their first year by fellowships from the Institute for Cell and Molecular Biology. The support from the Institute has allowed the life sciences to dramatically expand the number and quality of graduate students over the last 17 years.
