As the faculty of the CMB Graduate Program represent a wide range of research interests, the CMB Graduate Program is organized into seven specialized “tracks". Tracks in the CMB program are a way to organize a highly diverse program into smaller groups. The purposes of the tracks are also to designate track specific course requirements and to administer Part 1 of the preliminary examination.  Students become a member of the voting track of their PI, they do not “select” a track. Regardless of the track you join, your degree will be in Cell and Molecular Biology.
